Mom said that she got back from her trip last Thursday, then spent Friday and Saturday doing laundry, unpacking, etc., and then yesterday was her day to do nothing and recuperate. She said that one of her pals called and wanted her to go to the Solar Cafe for Sunday brunch, and she had a good time chatting with her pal and the cafe owners, but then when she got home, she got into her recliner and covered herself with her favorite quilt (made for her by her quilt pals), and took a good long nap. She said Jana sprawled out beside her and did the same thing. She said that she is following her doctors' advice: if you're tired, stop and relax for a while.
This afternoon she is going to a Labor Day party. She made hors d'eouvre pinwheels, and she is looking forward to the party.
She has an appointment with her dermatologist in Medford on Wednesday, and she is planning to go over early to look for an orange squeezer that her favorite Food network chef, Guy Fietti, recommends!
