I called mom last night around 5:30PM and she very cheerfully answered the phone and informed me that she knew it was me calling! Apparently Bill got her set up with caller ID, and she is like a kid with a new toy. She told me with great delight that she got a call from a blocked number earlier in the day and she IGNORED IT!
She told me that she was sitting in her green recliner with a nice crackling fire. I asked her if she had built it herself or if somone had come over to build it and she said that she built it herself, and once again told me that she is perfectly capable of building her own fires and that if she doesn't build one it is because she doesn't want to have to feed the fire all day!
