Mom has continued to sleep peacefully. Juanita and her husband came over from Medford yesterday and spent the afternoon. Bill arrived yesterday around noon, and she woke up long enough to see Bill's face, and she said, "It's wonderful to see you." Then she went back to sleep and has not awakened since. She is breathing steadily and seems very relaxed. Bill and I check on her frequently and Jana has been lying in the doorway to mom's bedroom.
This morning the sun was shining in mom's bedroom window and across mom in the bed, and the sparkles from the lake were reflecting on the ceiling of her bedroom as she slept. This is exactly what she wanted.
