Mom said she had a wonderful time at the annual Rocky Point barbecue. She did a shift serving coleslaw from 10:30am to 12:30am, and her co-server commented, "My goodness, you know EVERYBODY!" Mom greeted all the people who came through the line, and it's true...she does know a lot of them. She said that when she finished her shift, she went into the kitchen of the fire house and helped wash pans for a while!
This morning she went over to the Solar Cafe for her usual Sunday brunch, and spent a couple hours over there chatting with her pals.
She said she had a nice nap today, and she had a wonderful weekend, and she is "not exhausted tired, just fun tired."
