Monday afternoon (May 31, 4pm)

(Isn't that a Moody Blues song? Oh wait...that's TUESDAY afternoon.)

Mom just called to tell me that Bill took her out for a ride in the boat! She said that it felt so good to be out on the water, when last week she didn't think she would ever be out in the boat again. (That's the first time she has said THAT!) She said she is feeling pretty normal today, and she even went downstairs and did some sorting of her pantry. She said that she took her pulse a little while ago and it was 64, just about perfect, which is probably why she is feeling good today. That gives me hope that if she gets a pacemaker to keep her heart beat regular, days like this might become the norm.
