In all our euphoria over today's visit to Dr. Kubac, I forgot to mention mom's other appointment in town today...she had a bone density test. This had originally been scheduled for April, but mom's episode in the emergency room blew that out of the water.
The test was very quick; I don't think she was inside longer than about 15 minutes. The technician told her that it will take about 10 days to get the results.
It was Dr. Kim, her primary care physician in Medford, who had ordered the test about three months ago. I am not sure that it matters much, because I doubt if the result is going to change anything one way or the other.
