I wasn't able to post yesterday due to problems with the video on my laptop, but now that I am at work on a nice new computer...
Mom likes to go to the Solar Cafe on Sunday mornings, and so does her pal Doris. So yesterday mom called Doris and asked her if she would mind picking her up. Doris said she would be happy to, so Doris and mom headed over to the Solar Cafe for Sunday brunch. Mom said she had some kind of a breakfast sandwich with eggs, and when they got their order the owners of the cafe sat down with them and they all had a nice visit. Mom had a real good time, and she commented, "Where else but Rocky Point would the owners of the cafe sit down and visit with you while you ate?"
Then in the afternoon she happened to be channel-surfing and landed on the old Barbra Streisand movie "Funny Girl" and she was watching it when I called. She was really enjoying it.
She sounded like she was having a very good day. Not only that, but she sounded just like her normal self.
