Mom came through the surgery just fine. I will post more detail later...I just raced out to Rocky Point to let both dogs out, and I am about to race back into town but thought I would post a very brief update while I am here.
Dr. Kubac said that it was more challenging than he expected, but that the pacemaker is now in and running successfully. He has set it at 70 beats per minute, and he'll see how she feels at that rate before adjusting it further. Bill is with her right now. When I left the hospital around noon, she was still very sleepy.
She will stay in the hospital overnight and Kubac said she'll probably be released tomorrow around noon. More later.
