Mom did her Protime test this morning and her Coumadin level is only at 1.2. That's too low (normal is above 2.5). That means that her blood is not thin enough, and in fact she could tell as soon as she pricked her finger that it was going to be low, because of how long it took the blood drop to come out. So...that means we will be heading into town in a while to go to the Cardiac Clinic to pick up some more Lovenox, and she will probably need to give herself at least two more injections.
But she did have another good night and got plenty of rest. She asked me if I would help her wash her hair this morning since she isn't supposed to use her left arm, so that's the next thing on the agenda.
