Glenda told mom to increase her Coumadin dosage and continue with the Levonox injections through the weekend. (Which will mean a trip to town to get more. I already suggested that I go alone so she can just relax and rest today, and she agreed.)
They also discussed the protrusion. It's actually protruding enough that it is visible through the fabric of her shirt. They agreed to just keep an eye on it over the weekend. Glenda said that sometimes a "hema-something but not a hematoma" (mom's description) can develop. Glenda told mom that if it swells more over the weekend, mom should call their answering service and talk to whichever doc is on call.
