This morning I was out on the deck putting mom's front window screens up for her when I started hearing whoops and yells from inside the cabin. Mom had been doing her Protime, and when she saw that it is up to 2.2, she was so happy that she was practically doing backflips. She left voicemail for Glenda and she is fervently hoping that she won't have to take any more Lovenox injections (but she has one syringe left just in case).
Jana has been having some diarrhea and had to go outside numerous times all night long on Wednesday night, so mom was pretty tired yesterday. Last night was more of the same, but mom decided that they were going to do it HER way, so every time Jana came back inside, mom made her go into the bedroom with her. That prevented Jana from pacing around the house panting loudly all night long. Mom still had to get up with her about six times during the night, but somehow her strategy of making Jana go into the bedroom enabled mom to get more sleep between excursions outside, and surprisingly mom says she is feeling fine this morning (and her Protime result made her feel even better).
